- Musang King durian originates from Musang, which means civet cat in Malay. It’s named after this animal because of its sharp sense of smell, allowing it to easily find the best durians!
- The bottom of the durian has a small “five-pointed star”, and the spikes are not sharp. The mature flesh is golden yellow with slight wrinkles on the surface.
- The flesh is thick, with small and flat seeds. The taste is sweet with a hint of liquor, and it is considered the finest of durians.
